DUN Nangka: Is Dr. Annuar Rapee to replace Awang Bemee in the coming state election?

KUCHING: A Health Ministry staff Dr. Annuar Rapaee is a new name being mentioned by some netters in the facebook as a possible candidate to replace Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah as the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) candidate in the coming state election.

Dr. Annuar Rapaee is said willing to accept an offer to contest under the Barisan Nasional (BN) ticket should the party leadership wants Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah to give way to him.

One of his supporters has posted Dr. Annuar Rapaee's message to him in the facebook as a proof that Dr. Annuar Rapaee, who studied at SMK Rosli Doby in Sibu, would wholeheartedly accept an offer to represent BN in the election.

Dr. Annuar Rapaee is said to type this message on January 14, 2011 at 22:19: "II from heart: Jika di beri tanggungjawab dan amanah tuk saya sik akan menolak. Jika saya menolak maka selama tuk apa s...aya cakap hanya lah hipokrit untuk membantu orang kita diSibu. Juga oleh sebab rami orang di Sibu dah menyuarakan pendapat mereka dan ada yang bertanya soalan yang sama, maka jika saya menolak, saya rasa orang Sibu sik akan percaya lagik dengan saya lepas tuk. Jusa C bagi saya sik menjadi masalah bagi saya. Yang penting, saya anggap kerja selain dari utk cari makan ialah utk kita beramal juga."

As a matter of fact, supporters of Datuk Awang Bemee Awang Ali Basah and Dr. Annuar Rapaee are having an ongoing debate in the facebook on who is the best candidate to represent BN/PBB in the state election.
